How finding Litzibuch?

The hamlet Litzibuch is located only a few kilometres south-west of Zurich city, half way on the small road connecting the two villages Aesch and Lieli (see map).

If you arrive with public transportation

From Zurich you only need half an hour to reach Litzibuch; trains leave Zurich every half hour during working days, and every hour on weekends and in the evenings (see below).

Earliest train in the morning:

In Zurich main train station you take the S9 train in the direction of Affoltern a.A. - Zug, leaving at 06.34 on track 21 or 22 (underground). At 06.49 you arrive at Birmensdorf (fifth stop). Here you leave the train. 50 m ahead of the train a post bus is waiting for you. Take the bus to "Berikon-Widen" (destination shown over the windshield). Departure 06.51, arrival 06.56 at the bus station Lieli-Dorf.

The next train leaves Zurich main station dep. 07.04, Lieli-Dorf arr. 07.26, departures half hour until 19.56. Time table changes after 20.00, as well as on week-ends (for more information please check at www.sbb.ch).

The price for a one way ticket Zurich-Lieli Dorf is about 4 CHF (full price).
